Sjef from the Netherlands

Perhaps like Sjef, you want to make something special. Just like we helped Sjef, we can also help you along the path way to metal casting success.

Let me introduce you to Sjef from the Netherlands.

Hello My Name is Sjef.

I live in The Netherlands, and over here it’s pretty hard to find *good information* concerning the casting of metals. This often results in consulting a foundry who makes the requested  arts (including the molds) using one of the oldest metal-shaping techniques known to human race …(duh, where did we leave all our ancient knowledge?)

While I mostly use really small things it’s getting really expensive to get small parts cast (not mentioning the problems with dimensioning, casting flaws and the lack of interest by big foundries in getting small parts cast.

After some desk research, I ordered a lot of books (some are good on the subject and others are less so) all seem to have their own vision about (sand) casting.

But I had *some problems finding good literature* concerning pattern making info for special complex cores. In the search for more information about this subject I stumbled across the www.myhomefoundry.com website, and after some reading, I came to the conclusion that the *ebooks* and ezine are pretty much for *practical minded people* (just the way I like it).

The part about the *making of core’s* made me decide to order the other ebooks also (as an extension of my library on this subject, to further expand my knowledge on the subject and to avoid making the mistakes that others have already made before me).

A second *major plus*is the *affordability*and that it can be pursued in small steps (so it’s possible to make a thorough evaluation of the value of the info, before spending a large amount of money for something you don’t need).

And finally there is some *great and quick support* if there are any problems
Thanks Col.

Regards,
Sjef.
From The Netherlands.
